I should have done this before I started posting but better late than never.
I'm from South Africa, I studied a B-Com with majors in Economics, Supply Chain Management and Management.
I work as a consultant in the supply chain field.
I was raised in a home with my father being an atheist and my mother a christian but was fortunate enough to have parents who saw the value in allowing me to arrive at my own conclusions.
I'd never given religion much thought until the very end of my high school career (making me a passive atheist I guess). Then a christian friend challenged me on the issue and I was presented with a rendition of Pascal's wager for the first time.
Needless to say, a good chunk of its failings were immediately apparent but it's also what spurred me on to research the topic in more detail.
The more research I did, the more confident I became that my position as an atheist was the most honest position I could hold given the available evidence.
Lastly, a big thank you to the people involved in the maintenance of the iron chariots website and forum.
It is appreciated =)
