Mere Christianity

Postby Micah » Thu Oct 26, 2006 2:06 pm

I am currently reading C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity". I thought I should probably ask before doing a bunch of writing. I am under the impression that arguing against "Mere Christianity" is like beating a dead horse (i.e. that it has been over and over again).

Should this page be:
  1. Links to resources (webpages and books) that critique the book
  2. Claims and counter argument style
  3. Background information about Mere Christianity with a brief summary of claims made by the book (mention the Trilemma and go into the main points of Lewis's argument) -- which is somewhat like the Wikipedia article

I am looking for feedback if you think it should look like any one of those or a combination of the above. Or you have an alternative way of presenting the book's information.

Thanks,
Micah

Personally, I'd prefer a mesh of 2 and 3.

A summary with links to claims that are already covered in the wiki and a brief point/counter-point on claims that aren't covered elsewhere.
