Bible-free hotels

Postby Tom Morris » Tue Mar 25, 2008 1:54 pm

I was reading IIDB and the topic of Bibles in hotel rooms comes up. I'm wondering if the Iron Chariots wiki would be an acceptable place to put a list of hotels without Bibles. Seems like an ideal place to have it. Any objections?

I would assume we're talking about just the US right? You're probably not going to find a King James in your typical Riyadh hotel room.

Speaking of which, I just last month overnighted in Crete, England, and Newfoundland, and in every case I didn't think of checking for a Bible. Damnit!

I don't mind hotels with Bibles, where else would I get them when the dog rips them up. Actually, I need to replace my KJV because that's exactly what happened to it.

The FFRF has some stickers you can put on hotel-room Bibles:

Yeah, those I great. Unfortunately now that I'm retired I dont travel much and have little chance to use them in hotels. I had considered putting them in the local library's bibles, and the "Warning" one in the Quran, but I felt it would be defacing public property, and possibly launch some kind of theist backlash against Free Thinker books.
