Feedback, questions and concerns about the Wiki

Um...another question that will probably make me look like an idiot, but how do you put pictures in an article? More precisely, when you click the thing to add an image, it has "Example.jpg". When replacing "Example", do you put the name of a document on your computer or what? BTW, the last time I asked a question, Matt directed me to a link for a wikipedia article on using wiki's, but I couldn't find it. Can somebody put that link on a reply to this?

All of the forum announcements, including helpful guides on wiki editing are in this forum:

As far as images go, you have to upload the file (please make sure it doesn't violate copyright). On the main wiki page, click the "upload file" link in the toolbox on the left. Click the "browse" button to locate the file on your system. Enter the name you want the image stored as in the "Destination File" and a quick summary.

You can visit my user page: ... Sans_Deity

If you click the picture of me, you'll be taken directly to the page for that image.

For specific wikipedia instructions on including images in articles, see: ... age#Images

I appreciate everyone's interest in getting involved, but do take some time to look through the wikipedia guides to editing...there's lots of great tips there and helpful instructions.
